Tazzy's Story:

Tazzy has been having a tuff time lately. He was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. He was started on Rimadyl. It was causing him tummy trouble. He was switched to Tramadol. That has helped with hip pain, but I still knew something was wrong as he didn't want to eat. He started vomiting and diarrhea. I took him to the vet. He had tests and x-rays. My poor boy has gallstones. Dr. Lee had me start him on Royal Canin SO. We have five weeks in hopes of dissolving the stones. I'm terrified if he has to have surgery. He didn't do well with anesthesia last time. In the past, he has had three tumors removed. My Tazzy is eleven years old. I want him to be as comfortable as possible in his senior years. I know if they do not dissolve, surgery may have to be done. I've had him since birth and we have grown together. I enjoy our quality time together. We especially like to go to the lake or Metroparks. Tazzy is going camping overnight. He loves sleeping out in a tent overnight. He enjoys all the smells nature has to offer. When he was a young boy,he liked the pool. I love my boy to the the moon and back. You might say we are thick as thieves. When he has pain, it breaks my heart. The veterinary bills are mounting and I have no idea how much surgery would cost if he has to have it. I have to give my boy the best quality of life possible. Besides, gallstones can very serious, if not taken care of.  If he has to have surgery, I have no idea the cost. Right now my medical bill is $500 without the surgery. Please help my Tazzy Ray! No amount is too small. Any amount helps in the largest way! This Mom is very blessed to have the love Tazzy gives! I volunteer behind the scenes for our City Dogs CLE. I network, list, and do scheduling. I've been networking animals for well over six years all over the U.S. These animals need us.

All Chances complete 30 days after they are first Submitted for Verification by the Pet Owner. The reason they end at all is because credit card refunds must be issued if the funds cannot be raised and, therefore, the treament will not be provided.

So, if a Chance will not be fulfilled by a doctor/provider within 30 days, the money must be refunded to the people who made donations.

Shortly before the Chance completion date Pet Chance will try to work with the doctor/provider to see if the treatment can be fulfilled with partial funding.

Our goal is to fullfil as many Chances as possible!

We call it Pet Care Assurance...

At Pet Chance, our goal is to empower pet owners to make the right decisions for their pets. By funding Chances where owners have already incurred debt we are giving the next owner facing that daunting decision confidence to provide their pet with the care it needs.

The more Chances where treatment was already provided to get funded, the more likely it is owners (and vets) will make the right medical decision first, and handle the financial obligation after the fact.

We encourage you to support the work we do to help pets and their owners so we can continue to run PetChance.org.

Our world-class customer service and national impact has honored us with Top Nonprofit awards from Great NonProfits. We can only do this thanks to your generous contributions!
